Want the Pictures and the Party Without the Ceremony? We Get It.

Apparently, so do a lot of other couples.

Reception-only celebrations are becoming more common, and honestly, we love seeing it. Wedding days don't have to follow one formula anymore, and couples are proving that every single weekend.

Some are heading to the courthouse for a quick ceremony before celebrating with everyone they love. Others are exchanging vows in a backyard, at a family church, or on a mountaintop somewhere. Some are keeping the ceremony incredibly intimate with just parents, siblings, and a few close friends before opening the reception to a much larger guest list.

There isn't one right way to get married anymore, and we think that's a pretty beautiful thing.

The Celebration Is Still Worth Celebrating

No matter where the ceremony happens, people still want to gather.

They want the photos with grandparents they'll treasure forever. They want to see friends who traveled across the country to celebrate. They want incredible food, a packed dance floor, heartfelt toasts, and that moment when everyone they love is together in one space.

That's the part we're here for.

A reception-only celebration doesn't mean you're missing out on the wedding experience. It simply means you're building a day that makes sense for you.

So, What Does That Actually Look Like?

At Gabrella Manor, reception-only reservations include a few hours of access before your guests arrive.

That time is yours.

Want to get ready at the venue? Absolutely.

Want to arrive already married and spend an hour taking portraits around the property? We'd love that.

Want parents, grandparents, siblings, and your closest friends to stop by before the reception for family photos? Easy.

Maybe you just want a quiet moment together before the music starts and the celebration begins. We love that too.

By the time your guests arrive, you've already taken the photos, shared those first moments together, and can simply enjoy the evening.

Can You Still Have a "Real" Reception?

Absolutely.

This isn't a scaled-back version of a wedding reception unless you want it to be.

Dreaming of beautiful florals throughout the venue? Let's do it.

Want elaborate tablescapes and candlelight? Sounds amazing.

Picturing a simple, elegant setup with only a few personal touches? That works too.

Cake cutting? Of course.

First dance? Absolutely.

Parent dances? If they're important to you.

Champagne toast? Go for it.

Speeches? We'd love to hear them.

Late-night dancing? We hope so.

The best part is that none of those traditions are tied to where you exchanged your vows. They're tied to celebrating your marriage with the people who matter most.

And if none of that sounds like you?

That's perfectly okay too.

Skip the speeches.

Skip the formal dances.

Wear sneakers.

Serve tacos.

Bring in a live band.

Jump straight onto the dance floor five minutes after guests arrive.

Your reception should feel like your celebration, not someone else's checklist.

Your Wedding Day. Your Timeline.

One of our favorite things about weddings today is watching couples make decisions because they fit their lives, not because they've always been done that way.

Some couples dream about a traditional ceremony followed by a reception.

Others dream about saying "I do" privately before throwing one incredible party.

Both are worth celebrating.

If your wedding day includes portraits, great food, dancing, laughter, and a room full of people who love you, we'd say you're doing it right.

We're simply here to provide the space where all of that can happen.

If a reception-only celebration sounds like the right fit for your wedding day, we'd love to help you bring it to life.
