Just Booked Your Wedding? Here's What Happens Next

Booking your venue is a huge milestone — and for most couples, it's the moment everything starts to feel real.

You've picked the place. You've secured the date. You can finally picture your wedding day starting to come together.

And then the next question usually hits: Okay, now what?

If you've recently booked your date at Gabrella Manor, here's a look at what the planning process looks like and what you can expect moving forward.

It Starts With Your Vision

Once your date is on the books, the planning process begins with the fun part — your ideas.

This is where we get to learn more about your overall style, the atmosphere you want to create, and what matters most to you for the day. Some couples arrive with a full Pinterest board and a very clear picture in mind. Others just know how they want the day to feel. Either way, that's exactly where we start.

Your Ideas Become a Real Plan

After we understand your vision, we begin putting the details into place — moving your wedding from a collection of ideas into an actual, workable plan.

This includes layout decisions, design direction, package details, and timeline considerations. The goal is to create something that not only looks beautiful, but also works well for everyone involved.

You Review Everything Before In The Preliminary Phase

One of the biggest misconceptions couples sometimes have is that once planning starts, every detail has to be locked in immediately.

That's not the case.

After we put your plan together, it comes back to you for review. You'll have the opportunity to look everything over, ask questions, and make adjustments before anything is finalized. Planning should feel collaborative — not rushed.

You Don't Have to Have All the Answers Right Now

This is one of the most important things we want couples to know after booking: You do not need to figure everything out all at once.

It's completely normal to secure your date and still be working through design details, ceremony setup preferences, vendor choices, or final guest numbers. That's exactly what the planning process is for. The goal isn't to have every answer on day one — it's to build your day thoughtfully, one step at a time.

Planning Should Feel Exciting — Not Overwhelming

At Gabrella Manor, we want couples to always feel like they know what's coming next, what decisions are needed, and where there's still room to breathe.

Because this season of planning your wedding should be something you enjoy — not something you just try to get through.

We can't wait to celebrate with you.
