Planning Ahead Is Great. Paying Ahead? Not Always.

When you're planning a wedding months or even more than a year in advance, it can be tempting to pay for as much as possible early. The money is available, it's one less thing to think about, and you know the expense is taken care of.

But when it comes to your payments at Gabrella Manor, we recommend sticking to the schedule.

We've been doing this for years, and we've seen plenty of plans change between the day a couple books and the day their wedding arrives. That's why our payment schedule follows the planning process and gives you time to finalize your plans before more of your nonrefundable payments are made.

What Does the Payment Schedule Look Like?

Your Reservation Fee is due at booking and officially secures your date.

Your base Venue Rental Fee is due six months before your event.

Your final guest count and any changes to your plan are due 30 days before your event.

Your Final Payment is due two weeks before your event.

Late fees do apply when payments aren't received by their deadlines, so we absolutely encourage planning ahead. We just don't recommend getting too far ahead of the schedule either.

Why Is It Set Up This Way?

Because a lot can change while you're planning a wedding.

Your guest count is a perfect example. You may start with one number and end up with significantly more or fewer guests once those RSVPs come back. That's completely normal, and it's exactly why we don't ask for your final count until 30 days before your wedding.

Sometimes bigger plans change, too. Over the years, we've had couples need to move their wedding up, push it back, or make changes they never could have anticipated when they first booked.

Because payments made to Gabrella Manor are nonrefundable, we want you to have that flexibility while your plans are still coming together.

What If You're Ready to Pay Ahead?

If you already have the money set aside, that's great. Our recommendation is simply to keep it set aside and continue following the payment schedule.

You can even place your remaining wedding funds in a separate account so they're ready when each payment comes due. You still have the peace of mind of knowing the money is there, while keeping the flexibility our payment schedule is designed to give you.

Plan Ahead, But Give Yourself the Time

Our payment schedule has been shaped by years of weddings and all the different situations we've seen along the way. Each payment falls at a point when you're further into planning and have a clearer picture of what your wedding will actually look like.

So absolutely plan ahead and set those funds aside early. Then, let the payment schedule work the way it was designed to.
