The Official Alabama Homeschool Prom is Back at Gabrella Manor
Prom night is one of those milestone moments that students remember for the rest of their lives. The outfit, the photos, the music, the friends. It all adds up to something special. And this year, homeschool families across Central Alabama have somewhere truly unforgettable to celebrate it.
On Thursday, May 7th, 2026, Gabrella Manor is proud to host the Official Alabama Homeschool Prom right here on the grounds of one of Birmingham's most historic and beautiful event venues. We are talking disco balls, DJ Syx spinning a clean crowd-pleasing playlist all night, gorgeous photo opportunities, snacks, drinks, and a night your student will not stop talking about.
The Details
Thursday, May 7th, 2026 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at Gabrella Manor, 8912 4th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35206. Open to homeschool students in 9th grade and up. Dates do not need to be homeschooled.
Ticket Options
We have three ticket options to fit every family's needs:
Prom Admission — $60 · Full evening access from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Dancing, music, snacks, and a night to remember.
Prom Admission + Photo Time — $70 · Everything above plus early access from 5:00 to 6:30 PM to take photos around the stunning Gabrella Manor grounds before the event begins.
Photo Only — $30 · For students who want the photos but are not staying for prom. Available to students only and not open to the general public.
Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. Payment is also accepted at the door.
What to Expect
DJ Syx is back with his well-loved, clean-track playlist that keeps the energy high and the night fun for everyone. A Birmingham Police officer will be on-site for the full duration of the event so parents can feel confident dropping their students off. Once checked in, students may not leave and re-enter. Snacks and drinks are included all night.
Photo opportunities will be available around the grounds before the event for all ticketed photo options. Gabrella Manor is one of the most photogenic venues in Birmingham and your students are going to love every corner of it.
A Note for Parents
We ask that non-ticketed guests wrap up and head out by 6:30 PM. Drop-off at the front door is completely fine and parents are welcome to wait in their vehicles if needed.
